General cleaning is a comprehensive, deep cleaning format that includes all areas, surfaces, and details that are rarely treated during regular cleaning.

Below is a detailed list of what is included in a professional-standard general cleaning of an apartment, based on our checklist.

What does general cleaning include?

During general cleaning, the floor is cleaned more thoroughly than usual.

1. Cleaning of all living areas

A full cycle of deep cleaning is carried out in the rooms:

• We wipe cabinet furniture: shelves, tabletops, cabinets, window sills.

• We clean mirrors and glass surfaces.

• We disinfect switches, door handles, and sockets.

• Dry cleaning of internal cabinets and drawers.

• We vacuum and wash the floors (including the space under beds, sofas and furniture that can be moved).

• We take out the trash and change the bags.

This is the part of the work that gives a noticeable effect of “freshness” throughout the entire apartment.

2. General cleaning of the kitchen

The kitchen is an area that requires detailed attention. A general cleaning includes:

• Washing the stove and microwave oven (light to medium soiling).
